I’m building something where you send a question via email, it turns into SQL, runs on a DB, and replies back with a short answer.

Works… but:

-Takes average ~3 minutes

-Sometimes fails

-not real-time for now (only tested in local)

Yes, it is in it initial phase,

I can’t tell if this solves anything real like,

-could it be an alternative to data analyst’s or increase their efficiency ,

-usefull for solopreneur or very small company without data analysts ,

-help people without SQL knowledge get insight from their DB,

-or just avoiding dashboards for small data details.

If you have the options :

Would you ever ask your data this way, or would you just open the dashboard?

In big companies there would be a separate person called "Data Analyst" to get the insights from the data that the company has,
But Solopreneurs or a small team company may not have a separate person for it, so how would they derive insight from the data that they have collected,
Do they use any particular tool,
they themself know how to derive the insights,
they hire a "Data Analyst" freelancer for this job,
or ignore the data and take decisions based on their intuition.

Everyone would have heard that "Data is the new Oil"

and every business collects a ton of data

but is it used to take every decision

or only the very important decision.

If so or not so, Why?

Is there any particular reason behind it.
