Looking for a new BFF (or some cool less close friends)

Hi!

I (39F) live in Saint Paul with my male partner and our 3 year old daughter. I haven't had a best friend since my daughter was born (my last best friend was very aggressively child-free; me having a kid was a bit of a tension point -- long story). I have a handful of friends including some close friends, but none who live in Saint Paul and I'd love to have a local friend who shares some interests.

My interests:

  • reading books (contemporary literature mostly, not a huge genre-reader)
  • watching movies (all kinds of movies, though my top four are Take This Waltz, Terms of Endearment, Lost in Translation, Inglourius Basterds)
  • watching Survivor (a newer fan, since 2022, but I've seen all the seasons and have a lot to say about it) and other TV shows
  • running and exercise (run 4x a week, bike to work, Orange Theory)
  • Coffee shop hanging!
  • Board games (Not just Catan or Ticket to Ride :p )
  • Concerts (upcoming shows I'll be seeing include LCD Soundsystem, Cold War Kids, Young the Giant, Stars, Metric, and Broken Social Scene. . . so, millenial college indie pop mostly but I like more than that, they're just all doing their 20 year tours or whatever these days)
  • Travel, which has slowed down some with the birth of my kid but will ramp up again in the next few years.

I'm throwing this out there to see what happens. If you're interested in chatting to see if we connect, send me a message. It'd be nice if you have a kid, too, or a long-term partnership as those are key parts of my life, but it's not absolutely necessary (I have friends without kids or partners!).

This should not be so hard to find. The names of the girls were all like Summer, Autumn, June, -- either seasons or months -- and the song had a verse about each girl. This band was not super popular (or at all?) and this song was super moody.
