Hi. So my company lawyer is filing I-485 (I-140 approved 2 months ago and PD is current). The question I have is:

My lawyer has said that we don’t need I-485J since there’s no job portability or switching of roles or company. And they are adamant on not requiring it. What can I expect? Is it really a requiring for straight forward cases or should I expect RFE? Can I submit the I485J online? And if so, are there any implications?

I am on H1B and my wife is on H4. We’re submitting I-485 soon (EB2 ROW). The question I have is this:

Should we fine I-765 for my wife (H4) under the category (c)(9) which is the adjustment of status EAD category OR (c)(26) which is the EAD for spouse of H1B with approved I-140? Which is faster and which makes more sense in terms of her eligibility and status? Thanks alot!
