Hey there, I am a 32-year-old Maharashtra government employee with a salary of around ₹60,000 per month. I currently do not have any CIBIL score, which is why I am unable to get approved for most credit cards. I spend around 10000 rupees at groceries d Mart Flipkart, Amazon etc. Recently, I found out that through my SBI salary account I am eligible for the SBI SimplySAVE RuPay credit card. I have applied for it. It's annual fee is around 590 Rs.
Since I am not getting approved for any other credit card, I wanted to know whether this card is good enough to use for 1 year to build my credit history and CIBIL score. After that I will apply for other cards. If this is not a good option, what would be the best way for me to get my first credit card?
I have already applied multiple times for Amazon Pay ICICI and Flipkart Axis cards, but my applications have been rejected repeatedly.
