Hi there,

As a singer, a few things have bothered me over the years, and despite checking out a lot of forums and resources, I have failed to get a satisfactory answer.

The first one is that when I do my morning vocal practice I'm able to hit low notes, but as the day progresses I lose that bass, and by evening I am rarely able to hit the same notes. I lose a note or two. This is despite years of sustained practice. There are times when it's better than other times, but I noticed this frequently.

The second thing is if I ever take an afternoon nap and wake up, my voice is never able to open up for the rest of the day on the higher register, even if I was able to hit those notes in the morning.

Would appreciate any guidance / response.

Hello Seattleites 👋

Yes, I know this post sounds a little unhinged and partially degenerate - but hey, sometimes you gotta shoot your shot and accept the incoming group chat roasting.

Picture this: a young guy looking to meet older women (the “I have my life together and zero tolerance for nonsense” variety - late 40s / 50s). Where should I be venturing?

Coffee shops with a mature vibe? Wine bars? Bookstores? Hiking trails where the silver foxes roam? Trivia nights? I’m open to anywhere in Seattle or a 40-45 minute drive in any direction.

Help a brother out before I accidentally end up speed-dating at a retirement community. I promise I'm normal (mostly :p)
