Wondering if others have a similar experience to mine, and if they eventually had better luck!
I was diagnosed in late 2020. We started with DMARDS that didn’t help, and then I’ve been working my way through biologics that start out gangbusters and then rather quickly, like mostly less than a year, they stop working.
I know it’s common for biologics to eventually stop working, but I’m really cycling though them fast. The longest I made it on one was rinvoq for 18 months. Humira, Enbrel, xeljanz, they’ve all been 5-7 months.
Has anyone else cycled through their meds quickly and eventually found something that works for like, two or three years? I have two small kids and I feel like half of every year I’m barely functional (and I just can’t be on prednisone for any real length of time.)
