I have been on VLCD intensive (& Mounjaro 2.5) for 12 weeks. I found it worked well for me. Week 13 & 14 l took a two week break from VLCD intensive but l continued 2.5 mounjaro.
I did this to change things up a little before l do another round of VLCD intensive (12 week).
During my two week break l was not getting hardly any protein, l stopped 3L water per day, l started eating lots of carbs, sourdough, cake, chocolate and sweets (still taking 2.5). I had no desire for these things for 12 weeks. I kept snacking throughout the day not getting full. It was like a complete 360. Although l did not eat to the level or types of food l ate prior to starting Mounjaro.
I started feeling a little food noise week 10-12 but l easily managed. I’m not sure if it was being out of mild keto that spurred this type of eating or if l need to go up. I was trying to stay on as low a dose as possible.
Today l tried going back on plan and by 4pm was eating chocolate. Feeling very nauseaous.
I thought l genuinely had made change. I still have another 36kgs til goal. Any help advice or suggestions? l took 2.5 Sat lm thinking of moving up to 3.75. So taking an extra 1.25 tonight then 3.75 from this Sat onwards (will speak to doc this week).
