Hi all, I haven’t worked with LiDAR before and im currently looking into a solution for volume estimation of materials inside a 10m long container. The sensor would likely be mounted overhead

From what I’ve read, LiDAR seems to give pretty good accuracy for this kind of applications.

I came across Livox Mid-360 and Sick MRS6000 dutifully my research. Would the Livox Mid-360 be sufficient for this use case? Or should i be looking into some other models instead? Also should i consider alternate approaches like depth cameras?

Looking for something reasonably accurate.
