Basically the title. I live in Ukraine, my english is decent (C1), though I look and sound young (short recording linked below).
I would be going for local businesses in these niches. Working on the offer, then writing the copy and sending out templates for them to record UGC-style content, then editing and running Meta ads.
The questions are:
- Is this operationally a nightmare (banking, legal, sending out templates to local business owners expecting them to record the ad videos)?
- Would local businesses like tutoring and test prep centers (maybe k-12 tutoring, music schools, language schools, basically niches like these) even trust a Ukrainian agency? What would make them trust?
- Should I interact with my customers (the local businesses), be the one talking to them in paid ads, doing cold calls, etc. Or should I hire an American (or someone with American accent) to do this stuff, and just handle back of the house work.
These niches seem narrow, and a quick google search doesn't show that many marketing agencies that specialise in these. Probably because these are small businesses and pain in the ass. BUT, the one thing I got is that I live in Ukraine, so I might be able to handle lower price (though that's not the goal), and still be happy.
I don't know much about marketing agencies, so I might be missing something. Any feedback on this idea would be greatly appreciated!
Here is a link to a video of me reading a part of this post: https://streamable.com/tghw89. Is my accent and voice good enough to sell something to a local business owner? Should I hire someone for first contact and then just deliver the service later? Or is this so bad that I shouldn't even talk to the client?
