I got into PCOM’s BMS program and UPenn’s Pre-Health Post Bacc specialized studies program.

Pcom’s: Biomedical Masters

- guaranteed interview after 1 yr

- conditional acceptance after 2 years

- pipeline into PCOM’s DO program

- 15-20 minutes outside of the philly

UPenn: Postbacc program

- ivy league resources

- linkage agreement into pcom and rutgers (rjw) after 1 yr

- in downtown philly (plus for me, i’ve always wanted to live in downtown philly)

-i have a 3.3 gpa and 2.8-2.9 sgpa, health science major, a good amount of clinical and volunteer hours with a big focus on preventative care and community health/family medicine. mainly looking for a program to give me a second chance to prove i can handle a graduate gpa before applying into med schools and have better resources than my undergrad did. also looking for a good support group/community from these programs is a huge aspect im looking for.

i’m leaning slightly towards upenn, just if it opens up options for more school options, but the guarantee of getting into pcom is very reassuring, so i just am looking to see if people have heard or experienced anything about these programs? and any advice for someone going through these programs.

hi! i just got into the bms program at pcom and was wondering if anyone had insight into the program? was it easy to connect to other students, were you able to work or volunteer during the program, and how does it compare to other smp-like programs?

also if anyone else got accepted please pm me, i’d love to start a group thing!
