Edit: Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences/thoughts. It’s very reassuring to hear from real people than just talking 24x7 to my gemini!!

The day of spasms
Last week for 12hours I had intense spasms and contractions near my bladder. So much that it got better only when I stood up and back when i lie down. And then suddenly it stopped and vanished. Since then I only had some tingling sensation in my penis.
But I got an USG after that which said the stone is still the same place it was before that is 1cm away from VUJ. Wonder what the whole spasming episode was if the stone is still sitting there.
The Situation
Despite the stone being so close to the bladder, the sharp "colic" pain has completely stopped. The urine stream is high volume and normal. I’m confused because the USG confirms the stone is still there (1cm away), but the symptoms have gone silent. I have no pinching or tingling feeling either.
Need advice on:
Is it common for a stone to "park" at the 1cm mark and stop causing pain or any sensations?
Is it possible for me to pass the stone myself given its been moving from March mid? Or should I schedule a laser lithotripsy?
