Struggling to cope with my baby (9 weeks) not being able to be put down when napping in the day.

Before I get all the comments around enjoying the contact napping/ cuddles- I do and I still would keep 1-/ naps as contact naps as I love them but I also have slight OCD around getting stuff done around the house, so it would be nice to have 1 or 2 naps where I can put him down and get shit done.

Baby will be put down for a short window when awake, this time I use for tummy time, sensory play and just generally spending time with him, as soon as it’s time to sleep, he will only go off to sleep on me/ in the carrier and when I try to put him down he wakes up immediately I have tried waiting 20-30 mins until he is defo asleep to transfer, I have tried keeping a hand on his chest etc.

I feel like I am making a bad habit by not putting him down but he just wakes up and is then not getting enough sleep.

Any advice or is this just normal 8/9 week behaviour.

We have transitioned our baby from the Moses basket to the Joie next 2 me for night time sleep.

Are we ok have the side panel down all night while they sleep or should this be up?

My baby is 9 weeks tomorrow and for the the past 2 nights he has slept from around 9:45/10pm until 6/6:30am.

He is formula fed and has always gained weight.

Should I be concerned about this or just leave him to it?

Has anyone taken their baby to see an osteopath to help with them pooing?

My little one only poos once every 3 days and someone recommend an osteopath… thoughts? Or would you be looking more at changing their formula

EDIT:- they are formula fed on Kendamil
