I’m a senior graduating with a degree in Earth & Environmental Sciences, and I’m realizing I’m much more interested in conservation work than a traditional office based industry role.
I know conservation work isn’t easy or glamorous, and that it can involve long hours, field conditions, seasonal work, and plenty of desk work too. But I’d still really like to explore that path before settling into a more typical 9–5 career.
For anyone working in conservation:
What does your day-to-day actually look like?
What was your career path?
Do you enjoy it?
I’d really appreciate any insight!
