All my progress literally going down the drain
Hey guys, feeling somewhat hopeless right now and just need to vent a bit. I started finasteride 1mg oral after a massive shed last fall that I chalked up to a bout of Telogen Effluvium due to a super stressful move. I've also been using topical minoxidil for about 3 years.
I made great progress over the winter and had a whole new layer of hair under my surviving hair, it was thick and full and life was good (which is why I don't have great consistent pictures of it, I wasnt stressing). Starting right at the second week of April I started shedding and over 3-4 weeks have lost all progress that I made over the winter. I'm at about 6 months on fin but have no idea whether this is another TE flare up, allergies, or a fin shed. I have an appointment set up with a dermatologist to hopefully rule out allergies but man this shit sucks so bad.
I also haven't really seen anyone post about seasonal sheds and was curious if anyone has experienced anything similar?
