Buying a tread
I have been debating buying a peloton treadmill for a while. Looking for advice.
My rower and bike were both secondhand purchases on the marketplace for great prices. But looking for a tread, I am seeing them going for $2000-$2500, plus they are all 3+ hours away from me and difficult to transport without someone to help me load it. (I am in rural Wisconsin.)
As a veteran, I get $300 off a purchase direct from peloton which would bring it to roughly $3100 with taxes, delivered.
Do you think there will be a decent sale in the next month or two, maybe for Memorial Day or July 4th? I don’t need the 0% financing happening now.
I am just wondering if I keep searching secondhand, buy now with just the veterans discount, or wait a month or two to hopefully bring the cost down a bit? I was hoping to spend less than $2k if I have to travel, or up to $2500 if it’s closer or new.
The tread+ is out of my budget.
