Tesla model 3 or Peugeot 408?
Trying to decide between a Tesla Model 3 and a Peugeot 408 — what would you pick?
I know they’re pretty different cars, which is exactly why I’m stuck.
The Model 3 seems hard to beat on performance, tech, charging network, and overall EV experience. But I also really like the design and comfort-focused vibe of the 408. It feels more unique and maybe a bit less “appliance-like.”
For context:
- Mostly city + highway driving
- I enjoy driving, but comfort matters too
- I can charge at home
- Reliability and long-term ownership costs matter
- I’m in Europe, so the Peugeot makes more sense here than it probably would in the US
People who’ve owned or driven either (or both), what are the real pros/cons that don’t show up on YouTube reviews?
