Hey guys,

I recently received an offer for a Financial Risk Advisory role (Graduate), which I believe is supposed to be somewhat technical. However, the interview process was surprisingly easy.

I only had a group debate and a panel interview. The debate wasn't even about financial risk (though I tried to sprinkle in some risk keywords to look decent). In the panel interview, there were zero technical or financial risk questions. They mostly just asked about my CV to verify if my experiences were real. And not even a partner interview.

I know a friend who got an offer for the same role at a different company, and his interview was very technical with much more rounds.

Do you think this lack of technical testing is a red flag? Or is this normal for some firms?
