Anyone else use collagen peptides for joint recovery after big race blocks?
Asking because my knees and achilles have been my biggest limiter for years and I'm finally trying to actually fix it instead of just pushing through.
I have been using Welzo Bovine Collagen Peptides for about 3 months now and genuinely noticed a difference in how fast I bounce back after long efforts. Recovery still sucks but that deep joint aching that used to stick around for weeks has been way less intense.
Curious whether anyone else has gone down this road and what actually worked for you. Collagen, glucosamine, something else entirely? And do you take it before or after training?
