Hi all. I am about to start a new job in June with a base salary of £125,000. My wife earns less than £100,000. I also have a child (first!) who is about to start nursery in August. My new company has signed up to a salary exchange nursery scheme for me, which the nursery is also signed up to. They also offer salary sacrifice on pensions. This means that with some higher pension contributions I may be able to get to a position where my net income is below the £100,000 threshold for 30 free hours a week. There is a lot of money at stake if I get it wrong and it is quite complex to work it out, especially given the nursery fees go down dramatically if I get below the threshold, thus changing the inputs. Are there good professional tax advisors who specialise in advising on this topic?
