First time homeowner, worried about water damage from plumbing. House built 1967, cast iron and gal steel drains. I'm finding a lot of rust, leaky toilets needing flange fixes (I know Im needing them replaced ASAP).

Called the inspector from the home purchase (8 months ago) due to what appears to me to be water damage on the basement ceiling above drain pipe from 2 sinks. I was not mentioned anything about water damage or plumbing concerns during inspection. I was told I am not looking at water damage. I poked my visual scope through on the other side and see what to me looks like water damage. I feel like I already know the answer, that I need to get someone else in here to look at all this. I dont really have the money for major repairs right after all my money went into buying the house.

Feeling really screwed, hopefully its not as bad as it seems to me. Its cement board ceiling. I feel like they retextured right before selling, slow leak showed up 6-7 months later. All 3 toilets were rewaxed right before selling, they didn't even cut off the bolts and cap any of them. The 2 I've pulled needed flange repair and were rusted. Im about to pull the 3rd (has rusted bolts now 8 months later, no surface water or excessively harsh cleaners.)
