Help! Corbin Mortis Lock Malfunction
I have a Corbin mortis lock that is in a door salvaged from a turn of the century home in Philadelphia. The deadbolt was extended, and the key turned 1/4 a turn towards the outside of the door. The deadbolt was pushed back in on accident while the key was still in the 1/4 turn position. Now the key will not rotate in either direction and is stuck in the lock. I’ve tried digging around with wire, small Allen wrenches, etc and have had no luck. I considered running a machine screw into the deadbolt so I could attempt to pull it back out but wanted to get a more educated opinion before damaging such a cool lock. Any help would be appreciated.
