Hey all, need some honest advice.
I drive a 2015 Nissan Versa (~94k miles). It runs fine but burns about ~1 quart every 2,000 miles. I just top it off and it’s been manageable. Other than that, it’s been cheap and reliable.
I’m thinking of selling it and buying a 2017 Chevy Equinox LT (2.4L, ~89k miles) for $7,500.
I’ve read the Equinox engines can also burn oil and sometimes have bigger issues, which worries me.
So I’m basically wondering:
Am I upgrading… or just trading one problem for a worse one?
I’d be spending more, so I don’t want to regret it.
Would you make this switch, or just keep the Versa?
Appreciate any real-world advice.
