Advice needed !!! Help me out.
OPT ends in August, and I’m currently applying for MBA programs, but the whole D/S scare has kinda left me in limbo.
I reached out to the DSOs at the schools I applied to, but all they could really offer was speculation, which I completely understand since they only know as much as we do rn.
Just hoping to get some opinions here on what the “right” move would be.
For context, I picked an MBA partly because I wanted the option of pursuing a PhD/DBA later on in case my H1B doesn’t get selected while I’m enrolled.
But now the whole plan feels shaky because of all the buzz around possible D/S changes.
Should I give in to the fear and apply for a DBA ASAP, or should I focus on fast-tracking my MBA applications and getting an I-20 before the rule gets implemented (if it even does)?
Any advice would genuinely mean a lot :)
