I recently purchased this Thruxton from its first owner, 5.5k miles. Got some new tires, flushed the brakes and gave it a fresh oil change. I love the bike, it’s fun to ride but, I feel like I need a bit more “umpf”. I was originally set on the Thruxton RS but they’re scarce out here. Anyways, maybe I’ll keep it for a bit and enjoy it. However, I still have my eye set on a 1200 Thruxton. Anyone else fees like the 900 lacks a bit more power and a 6th gear?
