We are in the process of buying (current target closing mid June) a 15bbl brew house with 100 person taproom and small kitchen in New England. The brewery currently has an instate distribution contract and its current brewer/owner will be staying on for a time to brew and consult however we will need a replacement sooner rather than later. We’re looking for a brewer with experience in hazy IPAs and Berliner Weisse beers. I’m sure there’s a million things we’ve neglected to answer, some of them intentionally some of them because we’ve just not considered them. What we would like to know…
- What would be considered a good salary for a head brewer in a similar brewery?
- We’re not looking to steal anyone’s brewer but if you or somebody you know sounds like our new brewer reach out!
- If you have any questions please ask. If we can legally answer them at this time we’d be happy to do so.
