My partner is going through the hiring process tomorrow to work at the deli counter, and mentioned something about a drug test on a website they used to submit a background check. There was not a month’s notice in advance and they last smoked weed just over 2 weeks ago. Do they drug test deli counter workers pre-employment? Most of what I’ve seen when looking into it is that they only drug test for pharmacists and warehouse workers, but deli counters I’m assuming also work with heavier machines.
We also live in Colorado, and when I was trying to find more information on said test, the employers.io website said Cannabis was permitted, but impairment was not.
