So I’m currently an assistant project manager (8 months in, before this I was a graduate).
Today, I think I’ve made a mistake/ missed something in one of my projects, and it’s eating my up inside!
I was handed over this project, and it should have been my responsibility to understand fully what the requirements and scope of it was.
I’ve been managing part of the project which has been going well, but I was asked today about another part of the project, which I thought was not a requirement at the moment.
I have a meeting with my manager tomorrow, and I’m just going to be open and honest with her. But in all honesty, I feel very disappointed in myself right now.
How do you deal with making mistakes at work?
