I rewatched the miraculous movie a few days ago, and tbh despite its flaws, I think the movie did the final battle with Hawkmoth much better than the actual series did. Like yeah Adrien was hella out of character and Gabriel could've been held more accountable, but story-wise, that's how it should've been done. Like given how dark they've gone with season 6, I still don't understand why they couldn't have just gotten Chat Noir in that final battle with her and face the truth as Adrien head-on. The angst would've been just as good!
