Whats with the lack of price parity in the same region?

Let me try this again because people just shouted VATS and different country prices last time.

Forget about different prices across different countries. What is with the lack of price parity when it comes to games in the same region. Game that is meant to cost 70 dollars or Euro is one thing.

Where I feel confused is in the UK the one 70 dollar game can cost 75, while another cost 95. In Scandinavia two games 70 dollar games can actually decide to be nice and cost 70 dollar, or in other cases decide to be greedy and cost up to 110 dollars, though more common for them to be 100 and then you feel lucky when it's 80 or less.

I don't see how for example a games like Saros and Blood of the Dawn Walker both of which are 70 dollar games should be allowed to cost 100 dollars here. Meanwhile 007 first light and Lego Batman which also are 70 dollar games, cost 78 and 85. And then when I went to check UK pricing it turned out Blood of the Dawnwalker actually follows what seems to be their regular price of 75 dollars.

Yes UK and Scandinavia have different VAT and taxes. But it doesn't seem to have anything to do with taxes or even where the game was made. Two games coming from the same country and launches at the same 70 dollar or 70 euro price in the places where the euro is the currency. It's still random what they decide to charge us.

It almost seems like price parity is optional, especially after Sony decided to launch the PS5 Pro for 1100 dollars.

With these extra details I didn't have last time that seemed to make people confused about what I was asking. Any explanation?
