I have a stuffy nose so I’m forced to mouth breathe and I’m pregnant i desperately need to sleep but I’m awake every single hour like my body physically can’t sleep through the mouth and throat dryness. I’ve been coating my mouth in biotene gel to no avail. Going on day two of this someone please help
I have no idea if this is allowed but I wanted to share it with some people who might relate
On the brightest day of my life
The sun exploded
It was wondrous as sparks flew all around me
The world flashed with colors I’d never seen before
It was as though I was alive for the very first time
I was in it, one with the chaos
Such that all of its insanity felt more, to me, like peace
And I never even noticed that the sun ceased to exist
As it always had before, lighting up the world around me
No, I never even noticed that the the lights had all gone out
Including the one inside of me, all but one
Because all the power of the sun now lay inside my arms
Suckling, and cooing, staring back at me
Now in the moments I am desperate
Clawing my way though the darkness
Barely fighting for survival, finding the will to feed myself
I fumble through the pitch black rooms
Searching for my little star
And there is she is, smiling back at me
So bright I have to squint to take her in
And she lights my path so markedly
She leads me to the places
Where the sunshine dwell before the world fell into shadows
And though I plead with God that he’ll one day light my sky again
So I can see a little better,
So I can taste the breath of life one day, on my own again
And he does not seem to answer
I still thank him, as I cower, knowing all that he has taken
And all that he can still
Please Lord, don’t take my sunshine away
Please dont ever take my little sunshines away
