Does ECs matter to Architecture major?
Hi y’all,
I’m currently attending CC and planning to transfer to university offering a B.Arch program, with Cornell being my top choice. I know a really STRONG PORTFOLIO is crucial but I'm also wondering how important extracurricular activities will be. I've spoken to professors at school and some architects at top firms who also graduated from top schools, they all recommended to focus on portfolio as ECS does not matter for this field.
Can I get more insights from alumni or current students at Cornell? And if ECs are important, what kind of ECs for architecture students will be considered competitve and notable? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
