Does the scavenger perk increase the chance of ammo drops? Or does it basically turn one bit of ammo into two when you pick it up? And if it’s the former does it have any effect on sake drops?

Been trying the drunken samurai build and it’s great when there’s tons of sake all over the ground, but sometimes the sake gods get fickle.
