Hey y’all!
So I’m really enjoying this way more than I should, but here I got a detailed update on the last chapters of my Journey! (The next posts will be shorter, I prom!)
Route 32
- Wingz gained enough experience to spread her wings, turning herself into a beautiful Butterfree.
- As it got darker, me and the girls found refuge in a PokeCenter.
- Received and Old Rod from a fisherman, and two Lure Balls.
- I’ve grinded my team a bit, caught myself a Whooper and called her Ms. Flop.
Union Cave and Route 33
- I found a TM called Rock Tomb. While I thought that this would come in handy for the next gym, I found that none of the girls could learn this rocky move.
- Even though I've heard some melodic sounds coming from the lower parts of the cave, i needed to get the hell outta here.
- Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, even more misfortune happened, when route 33 welcomed me with a rainstorm.
- However, I did catch a cutesy Hoppip, and named her Breeze.
Azelia Town
-Upon entering Azalea Town, I was immediately met with tension. A mysterious, black-clothed dude was arguing with one of the locals.
- Curious, I asked around for the craftsman who makes the unusual balls, being especially interested in the pink ones.
- Something else was off. The villagers seemed uneasy, and I soon learned why: the local Slowpoke had started disappearing.
- When I found Kurt’s house and stepped inside, he rushed past me before I could even say “Apricorns,” heading straight for Slowpoke Well.
Slowpoke Well
- Rushing after him, I found Kurt at the bottom of the well with a sprained ankle.
- It was now up to me to defeat these cruel people that would harm these Slowpoke.
- After beating up Team Rocket Grunts and their pesky Rattata, faced their blue-haired leader, Proton.
- I led with Stripey, and she delivered. Outspeeding Zubat, landing clean hits, and even doing her nails mid-battle.
- Chick P., however, seemed to struggle with Koffing, doing hardly any damage and falling for it's stinky smokescreens. Had to get her out of this mess, and send Stripey back in.
- Stripey totally avoided Koffing’s Smokescreens, Smogs and Poison Gas, as she’s an agile queen and her eyes are keen. She couldn’t be touched by its nasty fumes, and scratched it into its doom.
- With that, Proton retreated and Team Rocket cleared out of the well.
- The Slowpoke returned safely, and Azalea Town finally felt at peace again. Kurt thanked me and took me back to his house to fabricate these pink Apricorns.
Grinding for Azalea Gym
- Went back to the Slopoke Well and grinded the girls to lv. 14.
- Taught Breeze the Bullet Seed TM, as she just was splashing around.
- While fishing I was surprised to find a Goldeen, caught her, and named her Golqueen.
- Went back to Violet City and caught a Poliwag, named her Toadette.
- While being there, a little bird told me to get the Slugma egg. So I hatched it, and named her Meggie.
- Grinded at Ruins of Alph, because the Rocks there spawn Geodudes to level 14.
2nd Gym: Bugsy
- Defeated all the bug trainers with ease (I’m sad that I can’t get a Ledyba in HG) After careful consideration, I decided to bring Cotton, Wingz, and Chick P.
- On first try I send out Cotton, which was immediately KO’d by Scythers U-Turn. Wingz did finish off Metapod, but lost against Scyther, which didn’t use his U-turn on her. From there on Chick P. did defeat Kakuna, but lost instantly to Scyther’s U-turn.
- On second try, I started out with Wingz, and managed to poison Scyther, while taking down some of its speed with String Shot before she was defeated. Cotton did land a thundershock, and survived one U-turn. She still managed to finish off Metapod bc of some potions, before being KO’d by Scyther again.
- While Chick P. TANKED Kakuna’s poison sting, I used on her a X Attack and X Defense, tackled it into its downfall. When Scyther came back out, she managed to survive a U-turn and landed a Growl, followed by a lot of tackles that didn't do really anything.
- I thought it was over when I was out of potions… but Chick P. showed me what she’s made of and landed her final tackle.. she stalled just long enough and let Wingz’s poison finish the Scyther.

I’ve decided to put Wingz and Cotton into the GIRLYBOX (for now), and give Breeze and Golqueen a chance to shine.
