It was okay. I just wanted to let you all know my half baked opinion on it. Seasons 1 and 2 were pretty good. Season 3 was kinda meh and then once I got to the like duo psuedo sexual assault part I realized I was only going to finish the series because I was as far into it as I was. Or was that season 4 at this point. God knows. I was already starting to dislike that season but omfgggg. Season 4 had to be the most half baked shit I've ever watched. I honestly think I spent most of it zoning out and going back because of how much shit was just coming out of their asses for whatever reason. And how they treated hector and isaac just pissed me off to all hell. like okay have hector be a bitch thats fine but dont make it look like him and lenore were actually suitable for each other. u can have a character be attached to their abuser without trying to make the audience think its a sad ohh but they couldve been. And the whole everyone suddenly realizing just how bad carmilla was getting cuz like oh no the poor humans.... U literally enslaved (assumedly) multiple and had hector right in front of u. Like omfggggg whatever girl. And then trevors fake out death like girl whatever again. and sypha being pregnant and the whole greta meta sypha-trev replacement thing because we need a half baked ending for alucard because we spent so much time making filler subplot with the teins. And oh my goodness just everything about that ending hurt my head. Abd then how they wrote LISA? like she wasnt around much at all at the start sure but the way they wrote her felt so out of left field like they were just wrapping that shit up because they needed to get off the clock. And omfg the pseudo sexual assault thinf again like what was it with the need to torture hector on every degree abd what was it with the whole bang a pair of twins thing. like i never understood why youd want to bang siblings at the same time as each other. and the sex was so stiffly animated that i couldnt even excuse the overly long scenes with like oh ok at least some effort was put into this because there honestly wasnt, they just dumped it in because they didnt know how to else to give alucard a fitting betrayal and they hated hectors wimpy bitch ass. That stupid episode omfg.
God those last two seasons were so fucked. I think i need to rewatch lalaloopsy or pocoyo or some other kids show and just wash my brain out, it is so exhausted from. ... Everything that was. Imma just pretend seasons 3 and 4 were some non canon au fever dream fuck and live in the peace of season 2 being the end of that show. Well i guess dracula and lisa can stay alive. and also they ended up bonding with alucard again after like giving him 50 years time to chillax and they all got therapy or something and came to terms with everything and the two parents had a psuedo breakuo when lisa found out wtf dracula did but its ok or whatever. Actually no they can stay dead they deserve to rest in peace and alucard deserves his stupid bs meta replacement girlfriend or whatever. Or idk. depends on how i feel after washing out the shellshock of this.
Sorry abt the grammar and the horrible mess this post is this series kinda fried my brain. The first two seasons had me so hype and then season 3 kinda just punched me in the nose and slapped me silly. Thank the lord its ok.
Is nocturne any good or is it season 3 and 4 level tho cuz im so morbidly astounded by wtf they did that im considering watching it just because ive already gotten so far as to sit through four seasons of this but also i dont think my brain can handle this
