I am a lifetime Volvo owner. Even though we have strayed (BMW) Volvo is my comfort car. I have severe arthritis in my lower back. I did a LOT of research and the XC90 was consistently the winner for drivers with back problems. They have orthopedists on their design/emgneering teams! We're about to buy a pre-owned, low mileage XC90.

My eco-conscious friends are giving me flack for buying a "gas guzzler." A couple of these people are zealots on a mission. We drive about 10 miles per day. Please advise.

Hello everyone! Dh and I are considering buying a couple of acres which has a very rough 3 season cabin on the land. I used 3 well known online appraisal tools and they were consistent: the property is overpriced by about 40%. This is in a very remote, unpopular [art of the state. We know this seller has been unsuccessful for months. He is financing the sale, should we simply cite the appraisals and make an offer accordingly? We've spoken and he's a very amenable person who seems reasonable.
