Hi, I'm a 1st year PhD international student in UK. I'm doing a funded PhD. It's been 3 days I have started PhD. Feels like I don't know anything. I'm really confused what to do what not to. Supervision gave me some reading, however I really had big gap after my MSc and I almost forgot anything. I don't even know where to start. I have first assessment coming in 6 months. I can see I'm lagging behind but i just cannot. Lab mates are very good at programming specifically they have industry experience. Which I don't but I have theoretical expertise.

I just really depressed will I ever make it. Any suggestions please.

Hi, I'm a PhD student, I just started 10 days ago. I'm international student. At this point, I'm really confused what should I do and what not. I feel like I'm in ocean. I have many things to learn. My lab mates everyone so knowledgeable and really good at what they do like statistical analysis, programming. I'm just stucked. Is this normal? How can I overcome. I'm really worried
