I went to flush my Yamaha FX cruiser HO after my first use.
The manual said to flush it for 3 minutes. II may have ran it for 3:15 seconds but an alarm started blaring. I immediately disconnected the water then the engine.

Is this normal? I’m assuming it was an overheat alarm? Did I break it?

I removed the seats to help the engine cool

Flow was really good out of the jet pump, I didn’t look at the side pissers. I was using salt off.

I turned the engine on first, then water, then turned my salt off on.
