For anyone familiar with the apk, is there anything stopping someone from creating a Google Translate app for the G2?
The killer feature for me is translate, I was happily surprised that on auto it translates more languages than advertised, but I really want a wider selection. I work in tourism/hospitality and not would this be useful.
While testing these out at a local store, I already ‘knew’ there were some languages I wanted but weren’t supported… BUUUTTT, I tested and found Vietnamese and Filipino both translated fine… I would’ve kept testing more languages (especially Bisaya) but someone else was booked in for a demo and I was already eating into their time.
Has anyone else discovered this? Is there a more comprehensive list of languages somewhere?
Also, I’m so close to buying and a referral code will probably push me across the line if anyone wants to PM me (just don’t tell the Mrs 😅).
