Hello,
I'll spare you the details but I have runner's knee. I am fairly certain it is not due to clear position or bike fit as I have had it before when running.
I switched to cycling because I enjoy it more and it's "low-impact" but I have gotten the pain on harder rides. After getting injured now zone 2 rides are also hurting so I've stopped now for a week.
I have started doing some strengthening exercises (bodyweight squats/wall sits) but the pains comes back.
Any insights on intensity and frequency of those exercises?
I know the GP (UK doctor) will likely just tell me to do some exercises anyways so I'd like to give it a go myself before going in.
Edit: looking for long term solutions and help about strengthening plans
