Hi there, seeking advice for my housemate and what we can do in this situation.
My housemate(25f) has just come home late crying from a work outing that turned into drinks and a night out. During the night out the head of hr(also f, not sure age but older) made a bunch of flirty comments towards my housemate and touched her repeatedly on her arms and thighs which escalated towards her touching my housemate inappropriately and groping her.
Both of them had some amount of alcohol involved and my housemate said she entertained the initial flirting because she was scared of not reciprocating from someone who could fire her but tried to stop her when she tried to touch her, but again was scared of the consequences if she did not go along with it.
After this happened to her she came home whilst the rest of the people from her work continued their night out.
I said that she should report this, however my housemate does not want to. My housemates manager is working under the head of hr and my housemate is very new to this job(about 2-3 weeks in) and is very scared about being fired if she tries to report it.
Any advice is appreciated on what we should do.
