So guys, I NEED help (here some photos and video) -- I don't know if this is the correct group but I can't find a Geotechnical one... Someone knows what type of soil is this (Siquijor mountains), and if it is really difficult to build on it? I approached a worker making the road there and told me this is "mixed-sand". I asked, "limestone mixed? or clay?" (just because I heard in Siquijor most of it is Limestone).. He says: "no, no clay but no puro limestone. It's just mixed-sand type". I didn't ask more since I won't understand anyways... The thing is that a family memeber is trying to sell me this hill lot and says no landslide risk... but some peices of this land melt when i press with my fingers... Some rocks are solid but some are not... I'm guessing retention walls will help? Thank you very much!!
