This is the point I start having confidence and energy to work out a bit. (A little over 25% done)
(I figured I’d start off by letting people know who might be curious, at what point do you feel like you can do an extended water fast, and while hard to pin point for everyone, I figured I’d share my time and a bit more about this fast.)
This ultimately became a shorter goal water fast, into a 10 day water fast goal decision. This will be my personal record If I achieve it. I haven’t fasted in 2 years, but since taking my health seriously again, and having been strict keto the last 2 months getting back into it.
Story time: I thought I’d challenge myself to do a 72 hour fast, but then I figured I’d push myself because I remember the stages of feeling and knew if I got over the 3 day hump, I could do more. That turned into 4.5 days, then settled on 5. After my wife asked what i wanted to break my fast on I named some options, but deep down I wanted to challenge myself further and she said well just play it by feel. She said you’ve done 7 days before so I know you can make it if you’re dedicated and listen to your body. I said she’s right and I said what I really want to do is hit 10 days..
Long story short after mulling it around a bit, I’ve decided to attempt it anyway. After just now getting that day 3-4 boost, as long as I make sure I’m staying up on my vitamins and salt, I should be in good shape. Wish me luck!!
