Getting into sewing machine repair.

Im now in charge of the some of the light repair and maintenance on about 45 industrial machines at work… I know very little about sewing machines. Anyways figured the best way to learn was to buy some and fix them. Picked up these 4 (with some accesses and goodies) for $50. None of the machines are locked up and spin freely. 2 appear to be complete and 2 are very nearly complete. The Husqvarna I can find parts for but I need a tensioner for the Emdeko and that one seems to be a littler harder to pin down. Any recommendation on where to look? Also any advice or words of wisdom/encouragement would be appreciated as I start this journey.

We have recently been remodeling my place of work and there is talks of getting a vending machine for the new break room. I’ve always been interested in getting into a vending business and figured this might be the perfect place to start. It’s a manufacturing facility with about 70 employees so not huge traffic. We currently have some snacks and drinks available for sale just through the honor system. Good news is I can poll the employees and stock it with exactly what they want since I’m here every day but I’m worried if it will be enough to justify buying a machine. Break even may be a long way away. How would yall handle this situation? Would this be a good fit for a combo machine? I’m obviously wanting to keep costs low but don’t want to end up with a lemon of a machine. I like the idea of the newer AI vending machines but would I even be able to cover the higher fees? Any advice is appreciated.
