So to fill in some context, I had a horrrrrrrible time doing the initial setup of our map. It got stuck on our rugs so many times and then couldn’t complete the map. So finally to just get the thing working I closed off any section of the house that was giving it any modicum of trouble and had it just map a couple of rooms, with the knowledge I could add those rooms later

So that finally worked and I was pretty happy with it, and today I finally opened up those other rooms and used the feature to add them to the map, but when Narwal did its initial mapping of them it did not detect the carpet at all. And now I’m stuck not knowing really how to force it to reevaluate that

I was so excited to get this for my wife for mothers' day and it can't even get through mapping my house - just a constant tire anomaly happening. Did not even get to use it a single time, this thing is getting returned immediately. So so so disappointed
