My name is Bassam, and I'm a software engineering graduate from northern Gaza. Today, I felt a mix of joy and sadness. I learned that 60 students from my country were able to leave Gaza to pursue their university studies. I was overjoyed for them, but I also felt bitter that I wasn't among them.

I launched my fundraising campaign a month ago, and so far, no one has donated. This makes me feel like I'm facing this challenge alone, and my hope is fading.

Today, I'm appealing to you all to stand with a son of Gaza in his educational journey.

I only need 1,500 Jordanian dinars (approximately $2,115 USD) to get my university degree, which is the first step towards building my future.

I am attaching a certificate from my university that proves the accuracy of my statement.

Hi, I’m Bassam from Gaza, a 24-year-old Computer Systems Engineer.
