Hey everyone; looking for some insight from people who’ve been through this or are familiar with Amazon offers. I’m currently in the interview process for a Full-Time Area Manager (University Recruitment) role in Alabama, and I’m trying to get a realistic idea of what my offer might look like.

A bit about my background:

I’ve held multiple management roles before

I’ve led teams with several direct reports

Strong experience in operations, performance management, and hitting KPIs

My background is more experienced than a typical “new grad,” but I’m coming in through the university pipeline. From what I’ve seen, offers can vary a lot depending on location and experience, especially with base salary + sign-on bonus + RSUs.

For those of you who’ve gotten offers recently (especially in the Southeast or similar markets):

What was your base salary?

How much were your sign-on bonuses (year 1 / year 2)?

RSUs (if any)?

Time off?

Did prior management experience move the needle at all in negotiations?

Should I try to negotiate with them when I get the offer?

Just trying to go into this informed so I know what’s competitive vs. low.

Appreciate any insight you’re willing to share.

Edit: Just FYI, I have gotten an email (the day after my interview) stating that they want to extend an offer to me with a location and start date.
