Hi, I'm trying to fix a Bose solo 5 sound system, I previously replaced a chip that always goes bad (if I look up Bose solo 5 repair, they only replace this chip and nothing else) but when I plug the speaker it sounds like it's shorting out, and all the LED's start blinking like crazy, accompanied by a crackling sound, this sound doesn't come out from the speakers, it comes out directly from the PCB as I have disconnected it beforehand.
I think the chip labeled as VR601 (V3 76) is the bad one, because if I dab some isopropyl alcohol on it, it disappears instantly.
English is not my first language so sorry if I sound weird
