FM Modulator

Has anyone any experience with installing a FM Modulator in their E38?

If so, how's the performance, and where exactly are you supposed to plug it in?

I got a set of new speakers for my E38. But the OEM speakers have 4 connectors while the replacement only has 2 connectors. What do I do with the two cables that presumably are passthrough to the tweeters?
