Looking for Summer Housing! 🏠 6 J-1 Work & Travel Students Needing a Short-Term Lease

My friends and I (a group of 6 university students from Kazakhstan) are coming to Galveston this summer for the J-1 Work and Travel program. We are incredibly excited to spend our summer working and living on the island!
We already have our jobs lined up, but we are currently having a hard time finding a short-term lease for the summer. We need a place for about 3 to 4 months (roughly mid May through early September). Since standard apartment leases on the island seem to be 6 to 12 months, we are hoping the local community might have some leads or advice.
What we are looking for:
- A house or apartment that can accommodate 6 people.
- A short-term, 3 to 4-month lease.
- Ideally somewhat furnished (since we are only here for the season), but we are very flexible!
- Moving in May 18th
If anyone has a property they are looking to rent out, knows a landlord who is friendly to J-1 seasonal students, or is a local student leaving for the summer and looking to sublet their place, please let me know!
