While “I Am God; The Ultimate Resonance” *is* kind of silly at the same time as also being kind of cool, it did lead me to reading about TRAZE theory, which seems about as plausible as any a theory for something as mysterious as consciousness.

Whether this is something BOC have read about, I dunno - but the idea of brains being independent read/write tape heads in a single sentient field is a pretty wild idea for something that’s actually published…
